Collaborative Partners
Collaboration with the Strathclyde Applied Economics CDT provides organisations with an opportunity to engage in a partnership to undertake a substantial piece of research guided by both the collaborating partner and two academic supervisors within the department.
- Our students are well trained, both in contemporary research methods, and in engaging in research with organisations outside the academic world
- The collaborating partner benefits from a committed student conducting guided research – using contemporary research methods at the frontier of the discipline – under the supervision of two expert academic economists.
- The student benefits from having an active real world issue as the guiding focus of their research, and developing both the academic contribution and the impact of their research in the real world.
