  • PhD success in the School!

    Mhairi Gavin, who was supervised by Professor Laura Piacentini and Dr Claire McDiarmid (Strathclyde Law School), successfully defended her PhD Thesis on 17th October with no corrections.

  • Nordic Welfare Research Conference
    Chris Deeming and Johannes Kananen, University of Helsinki, have had a Panel accepted for the forthcoming Nordic Welfare Research Conference “Towards Resilient Nordic Welfare States: Challenges, Responses and Consequences” 14-15 March 2019, University of Helsinki, Finland.
  • Funding from the Scottish Universities Institute
