Car Travel
University is committed to reducing the impact of travel and transport emissions, widening the choice of travel modes and providing more sustainable transport options for those staff and students that need to use their car.
Parking on campus
University has a number of car parks available to staff. The annual application process runs in conjunction with the start of the academic year. Staff can request temporary parking permits for visitors where applicable.
The issue and control of car parking permits is vested in Estates Services. All enquiries to be directed to carparking@strath.ac.uk with more information available on Car Parking webpage.
Discounted rates are available to staff in some of the surrounding city car parks.

Other University facilities
The University also operates facilities at several other locations in the wider Glasgow area. These are:
- University Sports Facilities located at Stepps in Glasgow
- PNDC at Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire
- Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC) at Inchinnan Drive, Renfrew, Renfrewshire
- Ross Priory near Gartocharn in Stirlingshire
