International students Exam Board Decisions - implications for visa holders

Please read the information below carefully to find out the implications of personal, academic/exam board decisions in relation to your student visa.

Aimed Award

Congratulations on achieving your award! Details of the award you have achieved will be submitted to UKVI if you are eligible to apply for further immigration permission under the Graduate Route. To ensure the information we provide is accurate, please ensure your contact details are updated in PEGASUS. You will also be able to see confirmation when this report has been submitted here, under the Curriculum History tab (this will be available from the 1st of July). Exit Award/ Alternative Award

Congratulations on achieving your award! If you have completed study earlier than expected (more than one month before the end date on your CAS) we will notify UKVI. Following this report, UKVI will write to you to confirm the new end date of your study visa. In most cases, UKVI will allow a four-month ‘wrap-up’ period at the end of your studies. Our Visa Compliance Team will email you to confirm this information.

Withdraw/ Withdraw with Award

This decision means you have been permanently withdrawn from your course of study due to academic failure or non-attendance and engagement with your studies. Alternatively, you may receive this decision if you have voluntarily chosen to withdraw from your course. Please see our detailed guidance.

Transfers - including Resit with Transfer, Reattend with Transfer, Pass with Transfer, Proceed with Transfer or Continue to Project with Transfer

Suspend/ Suspend with Transfer

This decision means you are suspended from your course and are no longer required to be in attendance. Please see our detailed guidance.

Voluntary Suspension

This means you have requested to take some time away from your study.  This decision will have implications for your Student Visa.    Please see our detailed guidance.

Re-attend

This decision means you are required to repeat the current year of your course of study. Please see our detailed guidance.
