September 2026
Scholarships of £6,000 to £9,000 will automatically apply to eligible international applicants beginning postgraduate taught courses in September 2026/27.
January 2027
The following scholarships will automatically apply to eligible international applicants beginning postgraduate taught courses in January 2027:

£9,000 to £12,000 for students demonstrating academic excellence.
Humanities & Social Sciences: Dean’s International Excellence Scholarship
£10,000 for students demonstrating academic excellence
Science: International Excellence Scholarship
£7,000 to £8,000 for students
Strathclyde Business School: Dean’s Excellence Award
£10,000 - £12,000 for students demonstrating academic excellence
January 2027
Faculty of Engineering: Dean's International Excellence Award
A scholarship award of £9,000 to £12,000 for students demonstrating academic excellence.
Faculty of Science: International Excellence Awards
A scholarship award of £7,000 to £8,000 for students demonstrating academic excellence.
Strathclyde Business School: Dean’s Excellence Awards
A scholarship award of £10,000 to £12,000 for students demonstrating academic excellence.

Masters scholarship for UK fee-paying students (September 2026)
A scholarship award of £1,500 is offered to new UK fee-paying students joining an eligible postgraduate taught Masters degree in the Faculty of Science in September 2026.

Masters scholarship for UK fee-paying students (January 2027)
A scholarship award of £1,500 is offered to new UK fee-paying students joining an eligible postgraduate taught Masters degree in the Faculty of Science in January 2027.
Strathclyde Business School
Masters Scholarships for Scottish/UK students
A scholarship award of 50% of the course fee is offered to Scottish and UK fee-paying students with an offer for a full-time MSc programme for January 2027.
EU Engagement Scholarships
EU Engagement Scholarships of £5,000 to £10,000 are available to EU applicants beginning full-time, on-campus postgraduate taught courses.
Faculty of Science online scholarships for September 2026
Scholarships of £1,900 are available to new students beginning one of the Faculty’s online programmes in September 2026.
Faculty of Science online scholarships for January 2027
Scholarships of £1,900 are available to new students beginning one of the Faculty’s online programmes in January 2027.
Alumni Scholarships
All Strathclyde graduates are eligible for a 15% tuition fee discount on postgraduate taught courses beginning in January 2026. This includes those who have studied at Strathclyde on an exchange or study abroad programme.
