International staff and immigration

The University holds Tier 2, 4 and 5 licenses which allows us to sponsor Non-EEA employees and students. Line Managers and research staff each have an essential role to play in ensuring compliance with Home Office regulations. Induction

Induction is a key tool in supporting our new research staff to settle into their role and familiarise themselves with the University. Key information includes:

  • Staff induction webpages - documents and information for new research staff to read through in their first weeks at work, together with departmental resources to ensure a smooth induction process. In addition, the University offers a dedicated Research Staff Induction to support new research staff to navigate the expectations, processes and available support for their roles.
