I chose to study at Strathclyde due to the impressive rankings, and because it has a world-renowned engineering department. I was impressed with the course structure, and I was also impressed with the state-of-the-art facilities available for students.

My lecturers are specialists in their fields, and the Department has partnerships with other institutions, such as the University of Glasgow and the NHS. This means that some of my lectures are delivered by experts with real-world experience

My favourite aspect of studying at Strathclyde has been the vibrant and inclusive community. From day one, I felt welcomed and supported by both my peers and faculty members, creating an environment where learning feels engaging and enjoyable.

The Department of DMEM organises industrial group projects every year as part of the MSc curriculum. This provides a valuable opportunity to work with industry experts and allows us to gain practical experience in teamwork and client handling.

It was clear when doing my research that there was also a very welcoming culture at Strathclyde, which is of course important to me as an international student. I came here not just to study but also to have a memorable experience, which I have definitely had.
