Paying your deposit & evidencing your finances
If you have finance conditions associated with your offer, you will need to pay a tuition fee deposit payment or provide evidence of full scholarship/sponsorship.
If you require a Student Study visa, you will be issued with a Confirmation of Acceptance for Study (CAS) which will allow you to begin the visa application process. Please note, CAS can only be issued when all conditions have been met.
Helpful advice on Visas
Registration normally opens around mid-August for courses starting in September and mid-December for courses starting in January.
It is important that you register before the course start date, so that you have access to your programme timetable and class materials.
You can begin the registration process from overseas but you must arrive in the UK to complete the process, so it is important to arrive before the start of term.
Join our Unibuddy community
Unibuddy Community is an online platform which helps you connect with other University of Strathclyde offer holders. It gives you the chance to chat with students who will be on your course, in your accommodation, from the same country or who have the same interests and hobbies as you. It’s a great way to find your people, feel settled in and more at home here. You can also chat to staff, to share ideas and ask questions.
